Configure and Troubleshoot Correction Services

A network rover must communicate with an external correction service provider in order to measure locations with survey grade accuracy. The connection is handled by a wireless connection to the internet. Use this lesson to learn how to configure and troubleshoot this connection.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The GNSS receiver used in this video could be termed a "full featured" GNSS receiver. This type of receiver has a fully developed programming workflow that allows FieldGenius to send commands to the instrument and allows us to use FieldGenius at all stages during the configuration.

There are some popular and inexpensive receivers that are not as fully functional but, with a few extra steps that are not covered in this training, can be configured to work with FieldGenius.
