Objective:

This activity will allow you to interact with STAR*NET and to input a simple network using the input codes explained in the previous module.

NOTES:

Assignment:

1. View movie
2. Create a new project
• Name it manual input
• Clear the contents of the template
• Set this as a 2D project
• Set coordinate order as North-East
• Configure instrument settings to match the screenshot shown in the manual
3. Complete the manual input activity. Ensure that your total error factor = 1.122, this will ensure you have input everything accurately.
4. HINT: If you have trouble completing this exercise, go ahead to the next module, it will teach you numerous troubleshooting strategies for finding common input errors. Then come back and complete this exercise!
